Nobody is safe from the horrors of holiday travel, not even an NBA team. The Celtics experienced that first-hand on Friday.

Currently in San Antonio for the first game of a two-game road swing, the Celtics attempted to make their way back from the AT&T Center Friday afternoon after shootaround, ahead of their 8:30 p.m. tip-off against the Spurs. However, the trip wasn't a smooth one as the team bus ended up stuck on the side of the road due to what appeared to be a mechanical issue. The Celtics Twitter account shared a video of the team stranded on the side of the road, with Enes Kanter adding pictures from his Instagram.

The good news is the Celtics did end up making it to the arena with plenty of time to spare before the start of the game. How will they respond on the court to what must have been a wild day getting there? Coverage of the game can be heard on 98.5 The Sports Hub, starting with pregame at 8 p.m.
