The Patriots will be thin in the secondary when they face the Jets on Sunday. Two corners have been ruled out for the game, and the team as a whole is relatively banged up heading into Week 7.

Friday’s injury report ruled out starting slot cornerback Jonathan Jones (shoulder) and backup Shaun Wade (concussion). Neither player practiced this week.

In addition, three more defensive backs are included in the group of 14 players listed as questionable. Kyle Dugger (knee), Jalen Mills (hamstring), and Adrian Phillips (back) are dealing with some sort of injury heading into the game.

Elsewhere on defense, linebacker Dont’a Hightower (elbow/ankle) and tackle Davon Godchaux (finger) are both questionable despite not practicing on Friday. Hightower also missed Wednesday’s session and was limited on Thursday, while Godchaux was absent all week.

The remaining questionable players include running back Brandon Bolden (thigh), guard Shaq Mason (abdomen), defensive linemen Christian Barmore (shoulder) and Deatrich Wise (knee), linebackers Ja’Whaun Bentley (ribs), Brandon King (thigh), Josh Uche (shoulder), and Kyle Van Noy (groin), and kicker Nick Folk (left knee).

Meanwhile, the Jets listed just three players on their final injury report. Only tight end Tyler Kroft (back) is ruled out. Linebacker C.J. Mosley (hamstring) is listed as doubtful, and his status was described as ‘day-to-day’ earlier on Friday. Mosley didn’t practice this week. Running back Tevin Coleman (hamstring) is questionable.
