“MAC! Mac, my man, congrats, first of many, let’s go!” Van Noy says to Patriots quarterback Mac Jones on the sidelines, moments after the rookie threw his first career touchdown pass to wide receiver Nelson Agholor. Van Noy also congratulates “Nelly” in the brief clip.
Jones completed 29-of-39 passes (74.4 percent) for 281 yards with the touchdown and no interceptions in Sunday’s 17-16 loss, good for a 102.6 passer rating. Agholor caught 5-of-7 targets for 72 yards with the score.
Van Noy, meanwhile, filled the stat sheet with a sack, QB hit, pass breakup, and three total tackles.
