Bill Belichick already has plenty of prestigious hardware in his collection, and now you can add a Sports Emmy Award.

Known more for his reserved, tight-lipped demeanor in press conferences, Belichick opened up more of his personality and granted insight into his vast wealth of football experience and knowledge as a key panel member of the NFL Network’s “NFL 100 All-Time Team” specials in 2020. And the 41st Sports Emmy Awards honored Belichick accordingly.

The programs officially won the Sports Emmy Awards for “Outstanding Studio Show – Limited Run” and “Outstanding Trans-Media Sports Coverage” in 2020, but Belichick wasn’t presented with his trophy until Tuesday’s trip to the NFL Films studios.

As if Belichick hasn’t won enough throughout his football career, he’s starting to conquer football TV, too. It will be fascinating to see if Belichick is interested in doing more gigs like these, especially once he’s done coaching.
