When Robert Kraft hits a milestone like his 80th birthday, the stars come out to celebrate. That was on full display this weekend when the Kraft sons threw a surprise party for their father in the Hamptons.
Kraft believed he was attending a party for his friend Michael Rubin, according to the New York Post. Instead, the celebration was for the Patriots owner who turned 80 years old on June 5.
The party included some of the biggest celebrities in the world. Lionel Richie provided the music, while David Spade performed some stand-up comedy. Adele, Jon Bon Jovi, Meek Mill, Kenny Chesney and Billie Jean King were all in attendance as well.
There were also plenty of familiar faces for Patriots fans. The notable New England names were Bill Belichick, Julian Edelman, Devin McCourty, Drew Bledsoe and Tedy Bruschi. Plus, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell was there to celebrate.
Tom Brady was not in attendance to celebrate Kraft, but he commented on an Instagram post of Bledoe, Kraft and Rubin saying, “3 amazing guys right there and nobody taught me more then @drewbledsoe one of the nfl GREATS.”
