Christian Barmore becomes final Patriots draft pick to sign rookie deal
The Patriots can now say they are one of 16 NFL teams to have all of their picks from the 2021 draft under contract. All eight players selected by the Patriots have now signed their rookie deals.
After signing Ronnie Perkins on Tuesday, the Patriots were left with just one draft pick unsigned – defensive tackle Christian Barmore. On Wednesday afternoon, Barmore’s agent Nicole Lynn tweeted a picture of Barmore putting pen to paper.

Barmore’s new contract is a four-year deal worth up to $8.5 million. He’ll carry a cap hit of $1.5 million in 2021.
Back in the spring the Patriots traded up to take Barmore in the second round, 38th overall. In two seasons with the Alabama Crimson Tide, Barmore 63 tackles and 10 sacks in 22 games, primarily as a defensive tackle.
