Jayson Tatum to miss Team USA game vs. Argentina
Right knee soreness will keep Celtics star Jayson Tatum out of Team USA’s exhibition head-to-head with Argentina on Tuesday night, the team announced.

The obvious hope (for Team USA and everybody back in Boston for that matter) has to be that this is more maintenance than anything else, really, as this is Team USA’s third game in four nights.
But Tatum’s absence comes with the Americans sitting at 0-2 through their first two exhibition games of the Olympic season, and on the heels of an eight-point loss to Australia on Monday. Tatum noticeably struggled in that contest, too, with a 4-for-12 shooting line that included misses on all six of his tries from beyond the three-point line off the USA bench.
Overall, the 23-year-old Tatum has averaged 11.5 points, five rebounds, and two assists per game to go with a 42 shooting percentage through his first two games of the summer.
