With less than two months until the 2021 NBA Draft, the Boston Celtics are beginning to schedule their pre-draft workouts. Coming up on the docket is Texas guard Matt Coleman, who will be in Boston this week, according to Forbes’ Chris Grenham.

The Norfolk, Va. native was a four-year starter for the Longhorns, leading the team in assists each season. Coleman’s name is all over the Texas record books, including third in games started (128), fourth in career assists (477), and seventh in assists-to-turnover ratio (1.73-to-1).

Coleman, who is listed at 6-foot-2 and 180 pounds, earned four All-Big 12 nods, including third-team accolades this past season. As a senior, he averaged 13.2 points, 4.0 assists and 3.5 rebounds per game. He shot 49 percent from the field and 38 percent from three.

The 2021 NBA Draft will take place on Thursday, July 29. The Celtics have the 16th overall selection.
