When the NBA revealed the second-half schedule back in March, they listed all games on the final two days as ‘TBD’ in order to capitalize on the best matchups. On Thursday afternoon, the league released the start times for the final weekend of the season, including Celtics’ final two remaining regular season games.
Both games will be played in the early afternoon window. On Saturday, they’ll have a 2:00 p.m. tip-off in Minnesota against the Timberwolves. The season finale against the Knicks on Sunday will begin at 1:00.
Although they’ve already clinched a spot in the NBA’s play-in tournament, there’s still stakes in these final two games for the Celtics. They can finish as high as the 7th seed, which would mean they only need one win to advance to the main playoff bracket. However, if they fall as far as the 9th seed, they’d need to win two games to move on.
Both remaining games can be heard on 98.5 The Sports Hub. Pregame coverage begins half an hour before the scheduled tip-off.
