The NHL released its latest list of players in the league’s COVID-19 protocol on Sunday. Bruins winger Jake DeBrusk was not on it, indicating that the 24-year-old will return to the ice at some point this week.
DeBrusk had been on the COVID list since March 19, and it was his second stint in the protocol. But he had already been around the team as of last Thursday, April 1, a promising sign for his ability to rejoin the Bruins on the ice as soon as Monday’s practice.
The Bruins previously got three players back from the COVID protocol: forwards David Pastrnak, David Krejci, and Craig Smith. Forward Sean Kuraly also spent time in the COVID protocol in recent weeks.
Boston takes on the Philadelphia Flyers on Monday at TD Garden. You can hear the call of the game at 7 p.m. with Judd Sirott and Bob Beers on 98.5 The Sports Hub, starting with pregame at 6:30.
