After attending Miami's Pro Day on Monday, it was just a short flight for Bill Belichick to Tuscaloosa, where he was spotted at Alabama's Pro Day on Tuesday. Belichick, who has a longstanding relationship with Alabama head coach Nick Saban, was previously expected to attend the event.

Belichick isn't the only member of the Patriots coaching staff in attendance either. Shown on camera by NFL Network, Belichick is seen standing next to his offensive coordinator, Josh McDaniels.

Perhaps even more notable is who Belichick and McDaniels are talking to in the photo. That's John Lynch, GM of the San Francisco 49ers. Since last week's trade that shot San Francisco up the draft boards, there's been non-stop speculation about the Niners sending Jimmy Garoppolo back to the Patriots, although they've held firm they intend to keep him.

Still, maybe after seeing Mac Jones up close at his Pro Day, Lynch will be more open to a deal. Belichick being in his ear the whole time can't hurt the Patriots' chances.

Beyond his conversation with Lynch, Belichick's presence in Tuscaloosa is notable given his ties to the school. He has a longstanding relationship with Alabama coach Nick Saban, and regularly drafts players out of  his program. Who might Belichick be looking at this year? Here's the big names to know working out on Tuesday.
