How could the Patriots not be done?!

Well, the off-season has really just gotten started. Duh. Bill Belichick may have acted swiftly and aggressively at the start of free agency, technically before the start of it. But there’s still the 2021 NFL Draft and off-season workouts/training camp, which is when some key roles will become more clearly defined. So the notion that there’s “still work to do” for the Patriots is fairly obvious.

But there are some remaining needs that could be filled in the second and third waves of free agency. Other decisions involve players that are already on the roster. While some of these questions may not be answered until just before the start of the season, it’s worth noting what’s left on Belichick’s plate, after the Patriots massively infused the 2021 roster with legitimate talent.

Here are six key items still on the to-do list for Belichick and the Patriots, as the 2021 off-season rolls along.
