If you’ve ever been at all interested in Christmas movies, you’ve likely seen Chase Winovich’s favorite. That is, his favorite movie, period.

Patriots fans have a little more time on their hands this weekend, so Hardy asked Winovich for a movie recommendation during Friday’s Zolak & Bertrand show on 98.5 The Sports Hub. Winovich named his two favorite movies, and just in time for Christmas, one of them is the timeless holiday classic It’s a Wonderful Life.

The other? Braveheart.

“I think I’m pretty eclectic,” Winovich said.

The Patriots linebacker described his two favorite movies as a juxtaposition of himself as a person and as a football player. But he also enjoys It’s a Wonderful Life and Braveheart because of the lessons they provide.

“They’re great movies,” Winovich continued. “I like content and movies and books and stuff that I can get a message from, that I can take something from, how to think, how to operate. I think we operate just as a culture and a society – I don’t know, this is weird but, without virtues and stuff. It’s weird.”

Winovich also had an ambitious but commendable Christmas wish: solving world hunger. You can listen to the above podcast for the full Winovich interview on Zolak & Bertrand. Click here for all Winovich interviews.
