The New England Patriots added two new names to the mix Monday, signing defensive back J.T. Hassell and offensive lineman Ross Reynolds to their practice squad.

The 5-foot-11, 200-pound Hassell comes to the Patriots following a September release from the Cleveland Browns.

An undrafted rookie out of the Florida Institute of Technology, Hassell began his NFL career in 2019 on the Browns’ practice squad before being signed to the 53-man roster last season.

Hassell, who set the Florida Tech school records for single season tackles (124) and for most tackles (20) and sacks (4.0) in a single game, played in four games and registered seven tackles on defense and four on special teams for the Browns in 2019.

Reynolds, meanwhile, reports to Foxborough after spending part of 2019 on the 49ers’ practice squad.

Standing at 6-foot-4 and 300 pounds, the 25-year-old Reynolds appeared in 31 games (14 starts) during his collegiate career at Iowa, and earned Second-Team All-Big Ten honors as a senior in 2018.
