With the NBA regular season tipping off in less than a month, the Celtics released their two game preseason schedule on Friday.

Via a tweet from the team account, the team announced they will open the preseason Tuesday, December 15 in Philadelphia. Then they’ll play one home game on Friday, December 18 against the Nets.

The opener against the Sixers will be the first time Boston sees former Celtics head coach Doc Rivers in his new home. Rivers signed with Philadelphia this summer after parting ways with the Los Angeles Clippers.

In their final tune-up the Nets, the Celtics will see arguably the best duo in the Eastern Conference in Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant. Assuming both play a decent number of minutes, it will be a good opportunity to see how the new-look C’s stack up against elite competition.

Training camp for the Celtics begins this Tuesday, December 1. The NBA season is set to begin on December 22, although the exact schedule has yet to be released.
