A quad injury that’s limited New England running back Sony Michel throughout the week is the headlining concern on a six-Patriot injury report entering Sunday’s head-to-head with the Kansas City Chiefs.

That injury has left Michel with a ‘questionable’ status entering this Week 4 meeting, and he’s far from alone on that front.

In addition to Michel, wide receiver Julian Edelman is questionable with a knee injury (like he’s been all season), and offensive linemen Isaiah Wynn (calf) and Shaq Mason (calf) are considered questionable. Wynn was limited throughout the week, while Mason made his first appearance on the injury report on Thursday afternoon. Defensive lineman Adam Butler, who was a limited participant in all three practices this week, is also questionable with a shoulder injury.

Cody Davis, meanwhile, is the only Patriot that’s been officially ruled out of play. The 31-year-old safety is dealing with a rib injury that held him out of practice all week long.

Kansas City will enter this contest almost completely healthy, but their one injury is a potentially big one, as defensive lineman Chris Jones is considered questionable with a groin injury. The 6-foot-6, 310-pound Jones has 12 tackles and 3.5 sacks through the first three games of the 2020 season, and had three tackles and a sack in last year’s meeting with the Patriots.

The Patriots travel to K.C. coming off a 36-20 win over the Las Vegas Raiders, and are 2-1 on the season, while the defending champion Chiefs are a perfect 3-0 following their Monday Night Football win over Lamar Jackson and the Ravens.
