As the Patriots begin preparation for the Kansas City Chiefs, they’ll do so with familiar faces returning to the offensive huddle. At Wednesday’s practice, running backs James White and Damien Harris, as well as wide receiver Gunner Olszewski were spotted during team drills, indicating all three are nearing a return to game action.

White missed the last two games following the tragic death of his father. He was given personal time by the team, and would be eligible to return immediately.

Harris (thumb) and Olszewski (foot) were both played on three-week IR before the season started. In returning to practice today, the two are now officially off that list. The team has three weeks to add them to the active roster, or they will be lost for the season. It remains to be seen if either will be ready for this week’s game in Kansas City.

Offensive tackle Yodny Cajuste and defensive tackle Beau Allen are also now eligible to be removed from IR, although there is no indication that will happen this week.
