The Bruins had one of their most lopsided playoff defeats in a long time on Wednesday night, falling to the Tampa Bay Lightning 7-1. Matt and Ty are here to pick up the pieces.
What went wrong in this one? How do you begin to break down such a bizarre series of events and disappointing efforts by the Bruins? The guys aren’t confident that the Bruins can come back and win the series, as they do their best to come up with ways that the B’s can make it happen.
But at the end of the day, Tampa entered this series as the deeper, more complete team, and it’s starting to show. And worst of all, the Bruins are starting to show some of the same problems that they had in their prior two playoff runs.
