Cam Newton is here to say what's up.
The Patriots quarterback officially arrived at Gillette Stadium on Friday, tweeting a photo of himself with the caption "What's popping" in his signature font. You can see the tweet above.
Newton arrives in Foxboro hoping to prove doubters wrong, as evidenced by one of his recent Instagram posts that read: "Dear haters, I have so much more for you to be mad at. Just be patient."
The former Panthers QB has been sharing workout videos throughout the offseason, leading up to and after signing with the Pats. He joins a QB depth chart that already included second-year signal-caller Jarrett Stidham and veteran Brian Hoyer.
New England also recently re-signed former Michigan State quarterback Brian Lewerke. However, none of the other QBs on the Patriots roster can say they've won an NFL MVP award or started in a Super Bowl.
Coverage of Patriots training camp is expected to ramp up in the coming weeks. Keep coming back to 985TheSportsHub.com for the latest from Foxboro.
