Jeff Thomas may be receiving as much hype as any Patriots UDFA in recent memory. The former Miami Hurricane was one of the best receivers in the nation in both 2018 and 2019, but off the field concerns led to him going undrafted in April, when the Pats signed him.

Is Thomas more mature now? On the field, he seems to think so.

Earlier this week, the Twitter account BostonSportsMike posted the following video of Thomas from a high school showcase in 2016.

Impressive route, no? Thomas, looking back on it four years later, recognizes that he could have been even better.

If Thomas pairs this kind of attention to detail to his already impressive skillset, he should have to trouble carving out a role for himself on a team thin at the wide receiver position.

Thomas caught 31 passes for 379 yards and 3 touchdowns as a junior for The U in 2019. In his breakout game in 2018, he caught 5 passes for 132 yards against an LSU team loaded with future first-round picks on defense.
