Like just about everything else going on in the world right now, the Patriots’ quarterbacks arrival to Foxborough for training camp will be delayed.
While Thursday is the first day QBs could report according to the NFL’s CBA, NFL Network’s Mike Giardi is reporting the team isn’t expecting the signal callers at Gillette Stadium until Monday.
The Patriots quarterbacks aren’t the only group impacted. Rookies league-wide were originally scheduled to report this past Monday, but held up as the NFL and NFLPA continue to discuss health & safety protocols for camp and the upcoming season.
When players finally do report, the first day will be limited to just COVID testing, with physicals likely to follow, according to The Athletic’s Jeff Howe.
