One of Tom Brady’s reported top suitors may not be pursuing at all.

According to ESPN’s Dianna Russini, the Tennessee Titans are not interested in Tom Brady. Instead, they are trying to work out a long-term deal with Ryan Tannehill. They have until noon Monday to apply the franchise tag if no deal gets done.

The Titans have been viewed as a logical landing spot for Brady for some time. Those rumors hit an all-time high two weeks ago when Brady and Julian Edelman were spotted FaceTiming Titans head coach and Brady’s former Patriots teammate Mike Vrabel at a Syracuse basketball game.

Sunday’s news shrinks Brady’s already reportedly small market. Earlier this week, it was reported that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are preparing to make a competitive offer for Brady, but that’s been about it for good news from his camp recently.

The Patriots have until noon Monday to exclusively negotiate with Brady. That’s when the legal tampering period opens and other teams can contact the 42-year-old quarterback. Of course that schedule is tentative as the league contemplates moving back free agency amid Coronavirus concerns.
