Jayson Tatum continues to put the NBA on notice, and his performance Sunday afternoon was good enough to earn a call out from LeBron James.

The NBA's third all-time leading scorer took to Instagram after the Lakers win over the Celtics to praise Tatum as "an absolute problem."

James captioned the post "That boi to the left of me is an ABSOLUTE PROBLEM!! Keep going #YoungKing #OnelegSleeveGang lol."

Tatum tied his career-high with 41 points in the 114-112 Lakers win. He was 12-of-20 from the field, and hit 4-of-7 three pointers.

Older Celtics fans will remember when Paul Pierce was in the early stages of his career and put up 42 points against the Shaquille O'Neal and Kobe Bryant Lakers in 2001. It was after that game that Shaq dubbed Pierce 'The Truth,' a nickname that stuck for the rest of his career.

Will history repeat itself? Jayson 'The Absolute Problem' Tatum is a bit of a mouthful, but it has a nice ring to it.
