According to TSN’s Frank Seravalli, the Bruins have emerged alongside the Colorado Avalanche as the frontrunners for Rangers forward Chris Kreider.

Kreider is expected to fetch the highest price of any player rumored to be available at the deadline, despite being on the final year of his contract. The 28-year-old Boxford, MA and Boston College product has put up 42 points (23 goals, 19 assists) in 57 games with New York this year.
With just under a week left until next Monday’s trade deadline, the Bruins lead the NHL with 86 points. Will the rich get richer by this time next week?
