Here’s the key stories in sports to start the day from 98.5 The Sports Hub…

NBA trade deadline: NBA teams have until 3 p.m. Thursday afternoon to make any trades. Celtics rumors have increased in the past few days. We’ll have you covered up to and throughout the deadline with our NBA Trade Deadline Tracker.

Betts trade on hold: According to a report late Wednesday night from the Athletic, the Red Sox-Dodgers Mookie Betts trade may be being renegotiated. An issue during Brusdar Graterol’s physical has the Red Sox concerned enough to potentially want another name added to the deal.

Celtics top Magic: The Boston Celtics won their fifth game in a row, defeating the Orlando Magic 116-100 Wednesday night at TD Garden. Forward Jaylen Brown rolled his ankle late in the fourth quarter and did not finish the game. Brad Stevens downplayed the issue during his postgame press conference, and an update from the team is expected this afternoon.

Bruins win in OT: The Boston Bruins also won their fifth straight game, picking up a 2-1 overtime victory against the Blackhawks Wednesday night in Chicago. Charlie McAvoy scored the game winner, his first goal of the season.
