Watch Bill Belichick and Matt Patricia execute a perfect gameplan vs. TMZ and some adult autograph seekers
The world would be a better place if more celebrities took the approach of Bill Belichick. TMZ bugging you again? Act as if they’re not even there.

TMZ is filled with videos like the one above, as they troll around bugging all kinds of celebrities from athletes to actors to models and whatever in-between. It's a vast landfill that, for the most part, I would rather not waste any time wading through and taking in the smells.
But when Bill Belichick activates his Jedi-like ability to simply ignore the noise, as if he's not being swarmed by the shameless ass-end of train-wreck media, it becomes must-see entertainment.
You can watch above as a group of TMZ paparazzi attempt to crack the un-crackable. Linda Holliday tells them "You know he's not going to answer!" and laughs in their face, as they literally move even closer to Belichick. The Patriots head coach also respectfully declines to sign items for a group of suspiciously adult-aged autograph seekers.

It gets even better when Lions head coach/former Patriots defensive coordinator Matt Patricia steps between Belichick and the non-playable characters surrounding him. Expert lead blocking clears the way for Belichick to wait for his ride in peace. The TMZ guys still don't budge, though. But at the end of the video you can see Belichick read off a text from his ride as if nothing else is going on.
The world might be a better place if all celebrities took Belichick's approach. Writing about the guy and even flapping our gums about him to each other on radio, TV, and podcasts is one thing. Just going up to him in public, when he's just trying to live his life, and shoving cameras in his face and asking directly about Tom Brady is about as blatant as it gets.
No surprise that Belichick knows how to defend against TMZ as well as any other media.
