Julian Edelman has three simple words for Tom Brady as the quarterback’s pending free agency looms…

Edelman tweeted the image Thursday afternoon at 12:12, which hardly feels like a coincidence. Brady is set to become a free agent in 43 days if he and the Patriots don’t agree to a contract. Reports from Sunday’s Super Bowl indicate the Patriots are willing to pay heavily to get Brady back, but other teams such as the Las Vegas Raiders are also in the mix.

The image Edelman tweeted is of course a reference to the famous scene from Cameron Crowe’s 1989 directorial debut¬†Say Anything…,¬†where John Cusack’s Lloyd Dobler holds up a boombox outside the bedroom window of Ione Skye’s Diane Court and blasts Peter Gabriel’s “In Your Eyes”, trying to convince her to not move to London but stay with him instead.

If Brady is looking to move on to a new beginning, could Edelman perhaps reel him back to New England? We’ll have to wait and see as #BradyWatch rolls on.
