Julian Edelman got himself in a little trouble over divisional round weekend. According to TMZ, the Patriots receiver got arrested in Beverly Hills on Saturday night after jumping on the hood of another person's Mercedes and causing damage.

According to the report, Edelman was walking around at about 9 p.m. California time when he hopped onto the hood of the car. Police arrested Edelman and cited him for misdemeanor vandalism before releasing him.

Based on the Instagram page of Celtics legend Paul Pierce, Edelman was out with him and former Patriots teammate Danny Amendola at some point.

For the Patriots' sake, the hope is that Edelman didn't hurt himself any more than he already was when he jumped on the Mercedes. He needs knee and shoulder surgery this offseason, according to the Boston Herald's Karen Guregian. Also, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the chest injury that Edelman suffered in Week 3 and played through for the rest of the season was partially torn rib cartilage.
