The New England Patriots added a new name to their injury report on Saturday, as running back Sony Michel is now listed at questionable for the team’s regular-season finale against the Dolphins due to an illness.

Michel, who is now among nine Patriots considered questionable, is not the only Patriot feeling under the weather, as Shilique Calhoun missed practice on both Thursday and Friday due to an illness.

And though the Patriots likely don’t need Michel to beat a Miami squad that comes to Foxborough with just four wins and surrendering a league-worst 400 yards of offense per game, the news comes as a potential downer for Michel after a fantastic Week 16 performance against the Bills featuring a season-high 96 yards on 21 carries.

Should Michel miss Sunday’s contest, the Patriots will lean on a running game led by Rex Burkhead, James White, Brandon Bolden. Rookie Damien Harris, who has been a frequent inactive, may even draw into the mix given the potentially low stakes of this one should the Patriots get out to a big lead and wrap up a first-round bye.
