It would appear that it's more than just the shoulder bothering Julian Edelman these days, as the Patriots wideout was listed as a did not participate on Wednesday's injury report with both a shoulder and knee injury.

Like he has all year, Edelman served as the driving force for the Patriots' scuffling air game last week, finishing a 23-16 loss to the Chiefs with eight catches for 95 yards and a score. Patriots quarterback Tom Brady targeted Edelman in the endzone on New England's last offensive play of the night, but was denied on a great reached by the Chiefs' Bashaud Breeland.

The 5-foot-10 Edelman has been an absolute monster for the Pats this year, with six touchdowns and 1,010 yards on 90 catches through 13 games, pacing him for what would undoubtedly be a career-year across the board. And his teammates know it'll take a whole lot more than a knee and shoulder injury to keep him on the sidelines for New England.

"They don't call him Squirrel for nothing," Mohamed Sanu said. "He's a bad man."

Edelman was the only Patriot not to participate in Wednesday's practice session, but the team did have six players limited.

Center Ted Karras (knee) and Sanu (ankle) were the only offensive player to land on the limited side of things, while defensive linemen Byron Cowart (concussion) and Danny Shelton (shoulder), Ja'Whaun Bentley (knee), and Jason McCourty (groin) made up the team's 'limited' defensive talents.

Quarterback Tom Brady (elbow) and N'Keal Harry (hip), meanwhile, were full participants.

The Patriots will try to snap a two-game losing skid when they visit the Bengals this Sunday.
