UPDATE: Phillip Dorsett and Mohamed Sanu are both officially inactive against the Cowboys.

The Patriots have not completely shut the door on wide receiver Mohamed Sanu, who has been limited with what an ankle injury suffered in last Sunday’s win over the Eagles, suiting up for Sunday’s head-to-head with the Cowboys.

From the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport:

Getting Sanu back, even at less than 100 percent, could provide a big boost to a Patriot offense that’s both expected to play without wide receiver Phillip Dorsett (concussion) and coming off one of their worst performances of the season last Sunday.

Sanu, acquired from the Falcons before the trade deadline, has totaled 108 yards and a touchdown on 14 grabs in three games with the Patriots.
