Korey Cunningham was not the only lineman acquired by the Patriots on Wednesday, as the team also swung a deal for Ravens lineman Jermaine Eluemunor.
The story was first reported by the Boston Globe’s Jim McBride, and the Ravens confirmed the deal shortly thereafter pending a passed physical in New England for Eluemunor.
A fifth-round pick in 2017, Eluemunor has experience at both guard and tackle, and has appeared in 17 games in total (he’s made three starts) since breaking into the NFL.
In exchange for Eluemunor, the Patriots will send an undisclosed draft pick to Baltimore.
Eluemunor’s acquisition gives the Patriots 16 offensive linemen heading into Thursday’s preseason finale against the Giants.
