Report: Celtics & Lakers engaged in trade talks with New Orleans on Anthony Davis
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that the Boston Celtics and the Los Angeles Lakers are in trade talks with the New Orleans Pelicans on power forward Anthony Davis.
According to Wojnarowski, the “Lakers No. 4 pick has been discussed as trade chip to help Pels acquire high-level player in multi-team deals.”
However, both the Celtics and Lakers are looking to negotiate independently.

Woj went on to tweet that the Celtics remain “undeterred” in their pursuit of the New Orleans star, and that it could be the team’s best shot at keeping Kyrie Irving on the roster.
So far, Boston has been undeterred in pursuing Davis -- despite his agent insisting AD would be a 2020 flight risk in free agency. For Boston, Davis could still be its best case to keep Kyrie Irving. Story soon on https://t.co/XcwLHcsHad https://t.co/C9NwYJiObX
