Former Patriots left tackle Trent Brown is expected to sign with the Oakland Raiders for a contract that makes him the highest-paid offensive lineman in NFL history. ESPN's Adam Schefter first reported the details of the expected deal: four years, $66 million, $36.75 million guaranteed.

Brown delivered his best season as an NFL player in his lone season with the Patriots, starting all 19 games at left tackle and playing 100 percent of playoff snaps for the Super Bowl champions. He'll collect a championship ring for the Pats this summer, then collect some massive paychecks from the Raiders in 2019.

The Pats originally traded a 2018 third-round pick to the 49ers for Brown and a fifth-round pick, which they used to select linebacker Ja'Whaun Bentley.

Oakland also traded for wide receiver Antonio Brown over the weekend, as they look to lock up their No. 1 wideout and starting left tackle spots for years to come.
