The Celtics will be without Jayson Tatum for their road trip finale Monday night in Los Angeles against the Clippers.
The team ruled Tatum out Monday morning at practice. He was initially listed as questionable with shoulder soreness.
Tatum is out tonight due to shoulder soreness. It will be just the second game he has missed in his career.

The diagnosis for the 21-year-old Tatum comes after what was a quiet game against the Lakers on Saturday, with just six points on a 2-for-7 night from the floor.
Tatum has been Boston’s second-most effective starter this season, with 16.1 points and 6.2 rebounds per night. The 6-foot-9 wing scored 16 points and collected eight rebounds in the team’s Feb. 9 meeting with the Clips at TD Garden.
The Clippers, meanwhile, enter Monday’s game with four straight victories and wins in 19 of 31 home games this season.
