Police in Jupiter, Fla. announced on Friday that Patriots owner Robert Kraft is being charged with two counts of soliciting another to commit prostitution. He is one of 100 men to be arrested as part of a massive sting operation, according to WPTV.

Jupiter Police Chief Daniel Kerr confirmed that the Patriots owner is one of about 100 men being charged with soliciting another to commit prostitution, and that there is video evidence of all of the men being arrested.

Kraft's impending arrest results from an eight-month long investigation that targeted five separate day spas in the Jupiter area. Kraft is one of 25 men expected to be arrested in relation to the Florida locations.

Martin County Sheriff William Snyder described the charges as "the tip of the iceberg" and the case as one that stretches across the globe.

"The tentacles of this go from here to New York to China, in Florida from here to Orange County," Snyder said.

Update (12:27 p.m.): A Kraft spokesperson denied wrongdoing to TMZ Sports: "We categorically deny that Mr. Kraft engaged in any illegal activity. Because it is a judicial matter, we will not be commenting further."

Police confirmed that a warrant has been issued for Kraft's arrest.

Update (1:11 p.m.): Sources tell ESPN that Robert Kraft is "not the biggest name involved" in the investigation.

Update (2:24 p.m.): The NFL has released a statement on the matter: "The NFL is aware of the ongoing law enforcement matter and will continue to monitor developments."

Update (3:16 p.m.): According to police documents obtained by TMZ Sports, authorities planted surveillance cameras inside the spa in question. Robert Kraft is among a group of 26 men allegedly caught on video exchanging money for sexual favors, and the videos capture "every single detail" of their encounters. However, Kraft is not mentioned by name in the police documents.

This is a developing story and will be updated as more pertinent details come out...
