Celtics Steamroll Cavaliers 125-103
BOSTON – No Kyrie, no problem for the Boston Celtics (29-18) against the lowly Cleveland Cavaliers (9-39).
The Green steamrolled the Cavs 125-103 Wednesday night at TD Garden. Cleveland led 30-27 after the first quarter before the Celtics buried them for the rest of the game.
Kyrie Irving did not play with flu-like symptoms. Terry Rozier started in his place and put up a game-high 26 points.
Jaylen Brown had 23 points off the bench. Gordon Hayward added 18 points. Jayson Tatum tallied 17 points.
The Celtics are now off until Saturday night when the welcome the reigning NBA champion Golden State Warriors to the Garden.
