Celtics Erase 19-Point Deficit in Comeback Win Over Memphis

MEMPHIS - The Celtics pulled off a comeback 112-103 victory over the Grizzlies in Memphis Saturday night.

The Green trailed by as much as 19 in the first half, but outscored Memphis 33-16 in the fourth quarter to pick up the win. The Celtics turned up the intensity on the defensive end of the court, forcing the Grizzles into a stretch of 15 missed shots in a row in the fourth quarter.

Al Horford hit two big three-pointers late to help seal the victory. He finished with 18 points and six rebounds.

Kyrie Irving had a team-high 26 points while Marcus Morris added 22 points. Gordon Hayward had 14 points off the bench.

Mike Conley had 26 points and six assists in the losing effort. Memphis big man Marc Gasol had 15 points and 10 assists.

The Celtics play the San Antonio Spurs on Monday as they wrap up their three-game road trip.
