BOSTON – The Boston Celtics (18-10) extended their winning streak to eight games with a 129-108 win over the Atlanta Hawks (6-22) Friday night at TD Garden.
Kyrie Irving scored a team-high 24 points. Jayson Tatum added 22 points and Marcus Morris had 20.
Gordon Hayward returned after missing two games with an illness and added 19 points off the bench.
Rookie Robert Williams had four rebounds and five blocks in 15 minutes played.
The Celtics scored 44 points off 24 Hawks turnovers, the most points off turnovers scored by a team in the NBA this season.
The Celtics head to Detroit Saturday night for a 7 p.m. tipoff against the Pistons.
