Bill Belichick injected his Friday press conference with a little holiday cheer, and he did it in the most "football guy" fashion ever.

Belichick usually starts his Friday pressers with a smile (seriously!) and a quip about the typically smaller crowd that the day brings compared to Wednesdays. But he added some holiday flavor this time.

"How's it going? Everybody out doing their shopping?" he started. It's one thing to be concerned about the media getting their shopping done, but what about him?

"[I'm] behind," said Belichick. "Christmas comes at an inconvenient time, right in the middle of football season."

What about shopping online with Amazon?

"Yeah, if I could figure it out."

Belichick's commitment to his anti-internet shtick is remarkable, by the way. But yeah, it shouldn't come as a surprise that he's consumed with the football season right now and has little time to consume Christmas gifts for family and friends. Now that it's been mentioned, someone ought to show him how to use Amazon.

Either way, it was one of Belichick's ultimate "football guy" moments to lament Christmas coming right in the middle of the season every year. Should result in a nomination for "Football Guy of the Week" on Pardon My Take, the Barstool Sports podcast that popularized the term in recent years.
