Celtics Bounce Back Against Hawks 114-96

ATLANTA – The struggling Celtics got back on the right track Friday night with a 114-96 win over the lowly Atlanta Hawks.

Big man Aron Baynes had a big night with a team-high 16 points and nine rebounds.

The Celtics had six players in total in double figures, including Kyrie Irving with 13 points, Jayson Tatum with 14 points, and Gordon Hayward with 11 points off the bench.

With the win, Boston improved to 10-9 on the year. The Hawks fell to 3-16 and have now lost 10 straight games.

The Celtics were without Al Horford, who missed the game with a knee injury. Baynes and Marcus Morris were inserted into the starting lineup along with Tatum, Jaylen Brown, and Irving.

The Green continue their road trip Saturday in Dallas against the Mavericks.
