Report: Jets Working Out Former Pats LB Marquis Flowers
With less than two weeks to go until the Patriots and the Jets meet for the first time in 2018, the Jets could be looking to bring a former Patriot into the fold.
According to Manish Mehta of The New York Daily News, the Jets brought linebacker Marquis Flowers in for a workout on Tuesday.
Flowers was a special teamer for the Patriots in 2017 and started two games defensively. He was beat by Eagles running back Corey Clement for a 22-yard touchdown in the Super Bowl.
Flowers signed a one-year deal to return to New England but was cut in training camp this year. He spent some time with the Lions before being released.
The Jets and the Patriots will play on November 25.
