The New England Patriots will likely get rookie running back Sony Michel back in action for Sunday's Week 10 meeting with the Tennessee Titans, a source has told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Injured in the team's Week 7 win over the Chicago Bears after four carries for 22 yards (and a 13-yard catch), the 23-year-old has been considered 'week-to-week' with an apparent knee injury, missing the last two games. Given the Patriots' depth issues at running back, this has forced Kenjon Barner and even wideout Cordarrelle Patterson to carry the ball behind James White.

Michel's expected return comes after a week of practice that saw him limited in three straight days, but with the 'questionable' designation prior to the team's flight to Nashville, which was an obvious improvement of sorts.

Drafted with the 31st overall pick last year, Michel has rushed for 422 yards and four touchdowns in six games this season, averaging 4.4 yards per carry and 70.3 yards per game.
