Kyrie Irving Propels Celtics to Overtime Win in Phoenix

PHOENIX - For much of the night, the Celtics did not play well enough to win.

They played well enough to win when it counted.

The Green erased a 22-point deficit, including a 14-point hole late in the fourth quarter on their way to a 116-109 overtime win against the Phoenix Suns

Marcus Morris hit a 3-pointer to tie the game with less than one second remaining to force overtime.

Kyrie Irving was unstoppable late, scoring a game-high 39 points, including 19 in the fourth quarter and overtime.

Boston struggled from the floor for much of the game, hovering around 30 percent from the field until late in the fourth quarter.

Morris and Jaylen Brown scored 17 points each.

Devin Booker had 38 points for the Suns.

The Celtics continue their five-game road trip Friday night in Utah against the Jazz.
