The Red Sox have announced their 25-man roster for the American League Division Series against the New York Yankees. Here's how it shakes out:

Starting pitchers (4): Chris Sale, David Price, Rick Porcello, Nathan Eovaldi

Relief pitchers (7): Craig Kimbrel, Matt Barnes, Ryan Brasier, Steven Wright, Eduardo Rodriguez, Brandon Workman, Joe Kelly

Catchers (3): Sandy Leon, Blake Swihart, Christian Vázquez

Infielders (7): Mitch Moreland, Ian Kinsler, Xander Bogaerts, Eduardo Nunez, Steve Pearce, Brock Holt, Rafael Devers

Outfielders (4): Andrew Benintendi, Jackie Bradley Jr., Mookie Betts, J.D. Martinez

Kelly and Workman secured the final two spots in the bullpen, edging out Heath Hembree and Bobby Poyner.

Kelly had a horrendous September, giving up 8 runs in 8 2/3 innings pitched, but may have made the roster because he held lefties to a batting average under .200 this year.

Workman, who split the year between Boston and Pawtucket, worked his way onto the roster with a strong second half. His experience in high leverage playoff situations as a rookie in 2013 certainly helped bolster his case for a postseason job.
