Wide receiver Josh Gordon will not make his New England Patriots debut tonight against the Detroit Lions, as the 27-year-old headlines the list of seven Patriots that will be inactive for tonight's Sunday Night Football showdown.

Patriots coach Bill Belichick's decision to leave Gordon's debut for another week comes after week in which Gordon got in limited practice with the New England offense, and was limited all the while due to an apparent hamstring injury.

Gordon did go through what seemed to be a considerable workout during the pregame festivities at Ford Field, though, working with both inactive talents and his share of Patriot regulars.

Elsewhere on the inactive list, Patriot mainstays Patrick Chung and Trey Flowers will sit out tonight's contest. Both Chung and Flowers suffered concussions in last week's loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Cornerback Eric Rowe, who was questionable for this game after he was limited in practice last week due to a groin injury, has also been ruled out.
