Patriots Practice Report: Jacob Hollister Joins Flowers, Chung Among The Missing
Tight end Jacob Hollister was a surprise absence during the media availability portion of the New England Patriots’ Friday walkthrough practice. He joins defensive end Trey Flowers and safety Patrick Chung (concussions) as the lone absences.
Hollister previously dealt with a hamstring injury during training camp, which left him inactive in Week 1 against the Houston Texans. He made his season debut last Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars, catching all three targets for 35 yards as a complementary receiving option for Tom Brady.
Rob Gronkowski (ankle) was present at practice, and his injury reportedly isn’t considered to be serious. Receiver Josh Gordon (hamstring) was also present for the third straight day.
It’s unclear at this point whether Hollister will show up on the Friday injury report, or had some kind of excused absence.
