Patriots Injury Report: Rex Burkhead (Concussion) Upgraded To Limited
The New England Patriots released their latest injury report on Thursday, with one notable change. Running back Rex Burkhead, who did not practice on Wednesday due to a concussion, was upgraded to a limited participant.
Burkhead’s improved status bodes well for his chances of playing on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars. It indicates that his concussion was mild in nature. It also indicates that the Patriots could continue to be patient with rookie running back Sony Michel, who was limited again on Thursday with a knee issue.
Here’s the full injury report for Thursday:
Limited Participation
RB Rex Burkhead – Concussion
RT Marcus Cannon – Calf
S Nate Ebner – Knee
TE Jacob Hollister – Hamstring
RB Sony Michel – Knee
Final injury report comes out Friday.
