In case you needed another reminder that Zdeno Chara is an absolute freak, here's your latest one. The Bruins defenseman may be 41 years old, but he's rapidly proving himself as the NHL's newest ageless wonder. His new Instagram workout video shows that the captain is still in peak shape.

Watch below as Chara works with some weights and a set of hurdles to work on his strength, agility, and balance, among other things. Clearly, he's not planning on slowing down as he enters the 2018-19 season, where he will turn 42 years old on March 18.

It's a good sign for the 2018-19 Bruins that their captain is still looking this strong and dedicated to being at his best. He's always been known as a monster in the gym, so this may not shock Bruins die-hards.

But for a team that's still going to be leaning heavily on their 41-year-old leader atop the defense, this should provide some optimism for the coming season and potentially beyond.
