Rick Porcello earned his 11th win of the season as the Boston Red Sox completed a three-game sweep over the Kansas City Royals on Sunday at Kauffman Stadium.

Porcello allowed three runs over seven innings, striking out nine against just one walk and scattering nine hits. Porcello’s 11 wins ties him for fourth in the American League with the Houston Astros’ Charlie Morton. He’s eighth in the league with 118 innings and 16th with a 3.58 ERA.

Craig Kimbrel shut the door after entering with one out in the ninth inning, earning his 27th save of the season.

After the game, Kimbrel and four other Red Sox were officially named to the 2018 American League All-Star team. Mookie Betts, J.D. Martinez, Chris Sale, and surprise addition Mitch Moreland all made the team, with Andrew Benintendi hitting the ballot for the final AL vote.

Up Next: The Red Sox head home for a seven-game homestand before hitting the All-Star Break. First up is a three-game set against the Texas Rangers, with Eduardo Rodriguez (10-3, 3.84 ERA) taking on Mike Minor (6-4, 4.63 ERA) in the series opener on Monday night at 7:10 p.m.
